Looking around, I see a lot of users on dA posting pieces from the months of this year to show their improvement.

Well, I don't draw, so I'm fucked there.

So instead, I'm gonna share my favourite lines from this year. It's been a big year for my writing; Pokemon Joutei was almost completely written in January and February, Solstice in the summer, lots of songs through the year, it's all be a madhouse!

So here are my top 5 favourite quotes..

Yeah, I quote Takeshi Gukyou a lot. But he's said some good stuff. And for the genuinely curious, my favourite piece from this year is definitely chapter 69 of Pokemon Joutei, simply for the romantic nature of the chapter, as well as showing how far Takeshi Gukyou's character has truly evolve over the course of the story.

Evidently I have exactly three people who actually watch me on here and I'm fairly positive they care just about as much as I do (which ain't a whole hell of a lot, really).

So that's fine. I can accept that. dA's a shitty community for writing (unless you're a Narutard or a Twitard, of course, or a blatant fucking homosexual), it seems and it doesn't get much better. So I'll finish writing whatever I have going for my entertainment alone and say "fuck y'all!" and leave dA. Not like it's gonna matter anyway.

So if you're actually watching me, cool. But don't try to change my mind because I'll just fucking ignore you. And no, this isn't a cry for attention. I'm not that fucking lonely.

So it seems inspiration has come to bite me on the ass once again, allowing me to write not one, but THREE chapters of Unbridled Chaos and one of Solstice. All in two days. Not bad, if I say so myself (considering that I have four damn ongoing series' at once!).

That said, I guess I'm back..in one form or another. To answer it before it's asked, I have NO fucking clue when Pokemon Joutei is coming back. When I can get interested in Pokemon again and find a decent way to continue the story without just writing four battles in a row (which it boring, btw), then I'll continue it. Until then, it's on hiatus. Actually, let's just make a list. That's easier.

Pokemon Joutei - Hiatus
Solstice - Ongoing; should be done next week
Unbridled Chaos - Ongoing; no idea if/when that will ever be finished
Heaven's A Lie - Hiatus; working on the plot

Now, I mentioned "rules for writing" in the title. These are just general rules that I try to abide by; feel free to use them too, I don't care.

1 - try to avoid gratuitous violence. That's boring.
2 - try to avoid constant swearing. A lack of real language shows no talent. However, this can ignored depending on the story and setting.
3 - try to avoid randomly killing off all your characters. Then you got no one to work with and a bland story!
4 - don't EVER involve rape in your story. NO ONE wants to read that shit. And anyone that does needs some .50 calibur aspirin to the temple immediately.
5 - love what you write, no matter how good, bad, overdone, original, praised or criticized it is. If you can't be proud of your writing, why should anyone else be?

Now, I realize that Unbridled Chaos 8 broke almost all of those rules. I'm not proud that I did, but if that chapter left a lasting impression on you, then I'm absolutely cool with it.
